On Shoes, A Scented Reading

& the next Whitney Review

I wrote this testimony on wearing ill-fitting shoes for the Dirt x Elsewhere Nightlife review.

This Friday December 1 at 7pm, I will be reading at Church of Saint Mary the Virgin in Times Square 145 West 48th Street as part of a *scented* performance combining spoken word, dance, and olfactory activations — presented by Label NYC and Residual Means. Tickets are available here (with a donation from the proceeds going to Gaza relief).

New issues will be available Saturday Dec 9 and Sunday Dec 10 at the Pioneer Works book fair Press Play, and we’re participating in the panel “What’s A Magazine (For)?” along with The Drift and The Baffler from 3 to 4pm on the Saturday.

Then Friday Dec 15, we’ll be having our very own launch event with performances at Sara’s. More details to come!
